The Solo Elite Track Club offers specialized event coaching designed to build fundamental speed, technical mastery, and athletic excellence for youth athletes ages 5 to 18.

Focusing on explosive drive-phase acceleration, maximum velocity sprint mechanics, and block starts for the 100m, 200m, and 400m dash.

Combining speed endurance and tactical race strategy to excel in competitive 800m and 1500m track races.

Developing aerobic stamina, mental toughness, and efficient rhythm pacing for 3000m track events and cross country preparation.

Training explosive approach speed, board takeoff accuracy, and airborne flight mechanics for maximum horizontal landing distance.

Mastering curved approach speed, vertical spring takeoff, and arching bar clearance techniques in vertical field competition.

Training for long jump focuses on developing explosive strength, speed, and technique to maximize performance in both the takeoff and landing phases.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the club help athletes develop in track and field?

We understand that every athlete has different goals. Our club offers two paths for development:

  • Training Only: Focus purely on skill development, fitness, and technique without the pressure of competition.

  • Competition Track: Put your skills to the test by participating and competing in track and field meets.

What should athletes bring to practice?
  • Running Shoes

  • Water bottle

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

  • Training spikes

  • Jumping Spikes (if applicable)

What age and skill levels are club athletes?
  • Ages: 5 to 18 years old

  • Skill Levels: Open to everyone (beginners and experienced athletes)

  • Goal: Inclusive environment for all youth athletes

When are practices canceled?

Practices may be canceled or modified due to severe weather, lightning, extreme heat, and/or unsafe field conditions. Parents will be notified through club communication channels.

What are expectations of athletes?
  • Work hard and focus

  • Follow coach instructions regarding events

  • Support teammates during competition

What do we need to prepare for track meets?
  • Arrive 60-90 minutes before events

  • Cheer positively, avoid coaching, support all athletes

  • Bring your uniforms, including spikes, water, snacks, sunscreen, chair

  • After the meet, retrieve all items, thank coaches, discuss highlights positively and embrace the process over results
